xdcc.info is a search index. We do not host, store, transmit, or distribute any files. We index publicly advertised XDCC pack listings from IRC networks and make them searchable. All actual file transfers occur directly between IRC users and IRC bots on third-party IRC networks — entirely outside our infrastructure.

Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner (or authorised representative) and believe that content indexed on this site infringes your rights under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), please send a written notice containing all of the following:

   Identification of the copyrighted work — the title, ISBN, catalogue number, or other identifying information for the work you claim is infringed.

   Identification of the infringing material — the exact filename(s) or search URL(s) on xdcc.info that you want removed, with enough detail to allow us to locate them.

   Your contact information — full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

   Good faith statement — a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

   Accuracy statement — a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

   Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised representative.

What Happens After You Submit

Counter-Notice

If you believe your material was removed as a result of misidentification or mistake, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Counter-notices must include substantially the same information as a takedown notice plus your consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant Federal District Court and a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, we have adopted a policy of removing from our index any entries that are the subject of repeated, validated copyright complaints. We reserve the right to terminate indexing of any source from which we receive multiple substantiated takedown notices.
